3M Recruitment 2026 is hiring for the position of Quality Testing Associate Analyst in Bangalore. This opportunity is suitable for freshers and candidates with 0–2 years of experience in Software Testing, QA, SAP Testing or related areas. Candidates with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business or a related discipline can apply. The role focuses on software testing, SAP testing, QA/test management, defect management and test reporting. The position provides exposure to manual and functional testing, regression testing, retesting, UAT support, Jira, qTest, Excel and enterprise testing processes. Candidates should have a basic understanding of SDLC, STLC, manual testing and the defect lifecycle.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Support QA and Test Management: Support QA and Test Management teams in planning and executing testing activities.
• Perform Testing: Perform manual, functional and regression testing based on requirements and test scenarios.
• User Acceptance Testing: Support retesting and User Acceptance Testing activities.
• Test Case Management: Prepare, review, maintain and execute test cases.
• Documentation: Document test evidence and test results clearly.
• Defect Management: Identify, log and track software defects.
• Defect Retesting: Retest defects after fixes and support defect closure.
• Tool Usage (Jira): Use Jira to record defects with appropriate descriptions, screenshots, severity and priority.
• Tool Usage (qTest): Use qTest to manage test cases and track test execution.
• Traceability: Maintain defect status and support requirements-to-test-case traceability.
• Reporting: Prepare test status reports and metrics using Excel.
• Coordination: Coordinate with SAP and business teams during testing activities.
• Compliance: Follow established QA standards and testing processes.
• Escalation: Escalate risks, blockers and testing issues on time.

Skills and Eligibility Criteria

Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business or a related discipline.

Experience: Fresh graduates as well as candidates with 0–2 years of experience in Software Testing, QA, SAP Testing or a related area.

Mandatory Technical Skills:

• Basic understanding of manual and functional testing.
• Understanding of software and testing lifecycle concepts (SDLC, STLC).
• Knowledge of identifying, logging, tracking, retesting and closing defects (Defect Lifecycle).
• Ability to support regression and retesting activities (Regression Testing).
• Basic understanding of User Acceptance Testing and business validation (UAT).
• Exposure to defect logging, tracking and workflow management (Jira).
• Basic exposure to test case management and execution tracking (qTest).
• Ability to track testing activities, prepare reports and perform basic data analysis (Microsoft Excel).
• Basic understanding of SAP testing and enterprise application testing (SAP Testing).
• Ability to clearly document test cases, evidence, results and defects (Documentation).
