Job Description:
For the Vedantu Recruitment 2025 drive, the company is seeking an empathetic and articulate Academic Counselor. The role involves guiding students in identifying their academic and career goals and assisting them in developing personalized learning plans.
Responsibilities:
- Guiding students to identify their academic and career goals.
- Assisting in developing and monitoring personalized learning plans.
- Conducting counseling sessions to address academic concerns and performance issues.
- Building rapport with students and adapting guidance to their unique needs.
- Collaborating with the educational team to improve student learning outcomes.
- Fostering positive relationships with students and their families through strong communication.
Skills and Eligibility Criteria:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: Freshers are eligible. Prior experience in Academic Advising is an advantage.
- Core Skills: Proficiency in Student Counseling and Career Counseling.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with parents and students.
- Tech Savvy: Familiarity with e-learning platforms or educational technology is a plus.
- Understanding: Solid understanding of academic planning and curriculum requirements.
