Job Description

Accenture is hiring for the position of Engineering Services Practitioner in Bengaluru. Candidates with 0–2 years of experience and a minimum of 15 years of full-time education can apply for this opportunity. The role focuses on providing engineering services and supporting the development of technical engineering solutions for complex business and engineering problems. The position has a strong focus on Aircraft Manufacturing, along with structural and stress design, qualification, configuration management, technical documentation, and engineering problem solving. This opportunity is particularly relevant for early-career candidates with an aerospace, mechanical, manufacturing, or related engineering background and practical exposure to aircraft manufacturing processes. Engineers in this role will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, analyze technical requirements, document engineering processes, participate in problem-solving activities, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Engineering Services Support: Supporting end-to-end engineering services and the development of technical solutions for engineering and business objectives.
• Structural & Stress Design: Applying engineering principles related to structural and stress design, evaluating how components and structures behave under different loading conditions, and determining whether a design satisfies applicable engineering requirements.
• Engineering Qualification: Participating in qualification processes, demonstrating that a component, system, or design meets specified requirements through appropriate analysis, testing, documentation, or other verification activities.
• Configuration Management: Ensuring that the correct version of engineering designs, documents, specifications, and other technical artifacts are being used throughout the product lifecycle through version control, change management, and baseline control.
• Technical Documentation: Assisting in documenting engineering processes and maintaining accurate, traceable, structured, and understandable technical records.
• Technical Requirements Analysis: Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze technical requirements, translating them into clear technical information and actionable work.
• Problem Solving: Participating in technical discussions, investigating engineering problems, and supporting the development of appropriate solutions using a structured approach.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Working with multidisciplinary engineering teams, communicating engineering information clearly across those teams, especially when discussing requirements, problems, design decisions, and process improvements.
• Process Improvement: Contributing to the identification and implementation of process improvements, such as identifying repetitive activities, inefficient processes, quality problems, or opportunities to improve engineering workflows.
• Learning & Knowledge Sharing: Continuously developing technical knowledge and staying updated with relevant engineering practices and industry trends, as well as supporting junior team members by sharing insights and providing guidance.

Skills and Eligibility Criteria

Educational Background: Minimum 15 years of full-time education. Strong understanding of engineering principles.

Experience: Minimum 0–2 years of experience. Experience in Aircraft Manufacturing is required.

Mandatory Technical Skills:

• Practical or project-based understanding of aerospace manufacturing activities and the engineering principles involved in producing aircraft structures and components.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles related to structural and stress design.
• Familiarity with configuration management and technical documentation standards.

Competencies:

• Basic knowledge of qualification and certification processes in the aerospace industry.
