Job Description
For the recruitment drive, the company is seeking an AI Agent Developer. This role focuses on the development of AI agents that perform reasoning, planning, decision-making, and interaction tasks using Large Language Models (LLMs). You will work at the frontier of AI development, creating agents that learn from data and communicate with users. You will collaborate with DevOps, security, and product teams to deliver hybrid, framework-agnostic solutions that meet AI Governance requirements.
Roles and Responsibilities
As an AI – Associate Data Scientist at Birlasoft, your key responsibilities will include:
- Agent Design: Designing and implementing AI agents using LLMs, planning algorithms, and decision-making frameworks.
- Architecture: Developing agent architectures that support autonomy, interactivity, and task completion.
- Integration: Integrating agents into applications, APIs, or workflows (e.g., Chatbots, Copilots, Automation tools).
- Optimization: Optimizing agent behavior through feedback loops, reinforcement learning, or user interaction.
- Evaluation: Monitoring performance, conducting evaluations, and implementing safety and guardrail mechanisms.
- Documentation: Maintaining thorough documentation of agent logic, design decisions, and dependencies.
Skills and Eligibility Criteria for Birlasoft Recruitment 2026
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, or a related field.
- Required Technical Skills:
- Strong programming skills in Python.
- Experience with AI/ML libraries (e.g., LangChain, OpenAI API, Hugging Face).
- Understanding of agent-based modeling and reinforcement learning.
- Experience building applications with LLMs or generative AI models.
- Familiarity with API development and backend services.
