Job Description

For the Cognizant Recruitment 2026 drive, the company is seeking AI Developers who have very strong skills in Python and have worked on projects leveraging Generative AI (GPT models, LLM frameworks). This role involves building cutting-edge solutions using Multi-Agentic orchestration and traditional ML approaches.

You will be responsible for data pipeline builds, data preprocessing, and analytics. Candidates with experience in Cloud infrastructure (MS Azure) will have an added advantage. This is a technical role requiring a deep understanding of AI model development and deployment.

Roles and Responsibilities

As an AI Developer/Engineer at Cognizant, your key responsibilities will include:

• AI Development: Developing models using NLP and LLMs with a focus on Python programming.
• Framework Implementation: Utilizing AI development frameworks, including vector databases, LangChain, LangGraph, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures.
• Multi-Agent Systems: Implementing multi-agent AI architectures and orchestration workflows (MCP and A2A protocols).
• Data Modeling: Transforming data using SQL and applying strong analytical skills for data modeling.
• Traditional ML: Applying algorithms like decision trees, regression, neural networks, and clustering.
• Integration: Using APIs, RESTful web services, and data connectors.
• CI/CD: Managing source code with GitLab and building CI/CD pipelines.

Skills and Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Background: B.E / B.Tech in a relevant field.
