Job Description
As a Software Engineer at Akamai under the Akamai Recruitment 2026 drive, you will be a key contributor to the IT DevOps Engineering team. Roles and Responsibilities
- Application Development: Design, develop, and deploy robust applications to support various business stakeholders.
- Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve complex application-related issues and bugs.
- System Collaboration: Collaborate with system operators to analyze and implement new technical requirements.
- Code Quality: Ensure all code is written to be scalable, maintainable, and free of defects.
- Coding Practices: Maintain a high standard of coding practices and documentation throughout the development lifecycle.
- Multitasking: Perform multitasking to handle multiple urgent situations and project deadlines simultaneously.
- Automation: Partner with DevOps teams to bring efficiency through innovative automation tools.
Skills and Eligibility Criteria
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience: 1+ years of experience.
Mandatory Technical Skills:
- Exceptional Object-Oriented (OO) programming skills and strong competency in Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA)
- Familiarity with at least one OO language such as Java, Python, Ruby, or JavaScript
- Solid understanding of software design principles and database management
