Amazon is officially hiring for the Associate, Quality Services role within the Alexa Hybrid Engineering Testing team. Based in Chennai , you will play a vital role in ensuring the software quality of world-class devices like Kindle and Alexa-enabled products. As an Associate in the Quality Services team under the Amazon Recruitment 2026 drive, your primary focus will be manual test execution. You will follow documented task instructions to verify software builds on the Kindle platform and other Kindle software products. The role requires a keen eye for detail to perform Regression Testing —repeating test cases to ensure that new code changes haven't broken existing features. Your daily routine will involve using internal software tools to capture data, reporting bugs accurately, and communicating failures to the engineering teams. You will work within defined guidelines to meet daily productivity targets while ensuring that quality is never compromised.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Test Execution: Execute pre-defined test cases for software builds on Kindle and related platforms.
- Bug Reporting: Identify, record, and report software bugs with high accuracy and detail.
- Regression Testing: Perform repetitive manual testing and regression exercises to qualify new releases.
- Procedure Adherence: Adhere to strict testing procedures and guidelines for every new software build.
- Data Capture: Use specialized software tools for daily data capture and result logging.
- Status Reporting: Provide individual status reports and escalate critical failures to stakeholders.
- Productivity & Quality: Meet daily testing targets while maintaining high-quality output.
Skills and Eligibility Criteria
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (Any Degree).
Experience: Freshers.
Mandatory Technical Skills:
- Basic understanding of QA methodology
- Manual testing tools
- Software testing concepts (Preferred)
- Kindle/Alexa ecosystem (Familiarity - Preferred)
Competencies:
- Attention to Detail: Ability to complete assigned tasks accurately and promptly.
