Job Description
Amazon Recruitment 2026 is hiring for the position of Digital Associate, Ring Data Engineering Services in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The opportunity is available under ADCI MAA 12 SEZ and focuses on data annotation, content generation, quality verification and machine learning data processes. As a SA/VLM Associate, the selected candidate will work with audio, image and video files, creating high-quality written content and labeling objects according to defined instructions. The role requires strong English language skills, attention to detail, analytical ability and the ability to work consistently against daily productivity and quality targets. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent and be able to compose grammatically correct, concise and accurate written responses in English.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Annotation Tasks: Perform simple annotation-related tasks within a defined ML data process; Work with audio, image and video files using internal tools and software.
- Data Collection: Participate in data collection activities when scripts and instructions are provided.
- Compliance: Follow compliance and confidentiality requirements during data collection and annotation.
- Content Generation: Apply grammar, syntax and linguistic rules when generating written content.
- Quality Assurance: Perform quality audits and verification to maintain internal process quality.
- Performance Targets: Meet daily productivity and quality targets.
- Query & Status Reporting: Track annotation and data collection queries and share them with relevant stakeholders; Track daily task completion using recommended tools; Provide individual status reports as required.
- Process Improvement: Help test new Standard Operating Procedures and ML data tools; Provide timely feedback to improve processes and consistency; Provide remedial instruction related to tool usage and other topics when required.
- Confidentiality: Adhere to confidentiality and compliance requirements relating to customer data and Amazon.
Skills and Eligibility Criteria
Educational Background: Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
Mandatory Technical Skills:
- English Language (strong command of grammar, syntax and vocabulary)
- Content Writing (clear, concise and informative written content)
- Data Annotation (tasks involving audio, image and video files)
- Analytical Skills (evaluate and interpret data to improve process or system performance)
- Quality Checking (identify and correct errors or inconsistencies)
- Attention to Detail (maintain accuracy across repetitive tasks)
- Problem-Solving (investigate issues and determine appropriate solutions)
- Time Management (prioritize multiple assignments and meet daily deadlines)
Competencies:
