Job Description
Amazon is hiring for the position of Packaging Associate – IN Packaging in Bangalore. Candidates with a Bachelor's degree or higher and 0–1 year of experience can apply for this opportunity. The role is part of the Imaging team and involves visual testing against defined attributes for PWP and other workstreams. The selected candidate will also be responsible for meeting team metrics and identifying small-scale process improvement opportunities through root cause analysis. The position is suitable for graduates with strong analytical, statistical, communication, data interpretation, and problem-solving skills.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Visual Testing: Performing visual testing against defined attributes for PWP and other Imaging workstreams, requiring strong attention to detail, consistency, and accurate decision-making.
- Metric Achievement: Responsible for achieving the metric goals of the Imaging team, balancing performance dimensions like accuracy, productivity, and quality.
- Root Cause Analysis: Identifying and managing small-scale process improvement opportunities by performing root cause analysis, looking beyond immediate symptoms to determine underlying problems.
- Data-Driven Problem Solving: Approaching problems through a data-driven method, examining process information, identifying patterns, and using evidence to support decisions.
Skills and Eligibility Criteria
Educational Background: Bachelor's degree or above.
Experience: 0–1 year of experience. Previous customer-service experience is preferred.
Mandatory Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Competencies:
- Strong analytical and statistical skills.
- Strong data-driven problem-solving ability.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Ability and willingness to relocate to Bangalore as required.
- Understanding of AMZ processes is beneficial.
