Job Description
Salesforce Recruitment 2026 is hiring for the position of APAC Payroll Analyst in Hyderabad, Telangana. The role requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll, HR or shared services environments supporting APAC countries, particularly India, Australia and Singapore. The position focuses on APAC payroll processing, employee data management, payroll compliance, HR systems, case management and employee support. Candidates with experience in Workday HCM or a similar HRIS, third-party payroll vendors such as ADP and regional payroll legislation can be relevant for this opportunity. The role also has a strong focus on AI-driven process improvement and automation. The selected candidate will work with employees, managers, payroll vendors and internal teams to resolve payroll and HR-related cases while maintaining data accuracy, confidentiality and compliance.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Customer Service: Provide customer service to Salesforce employees and managers through Basecamp and other support channels.
- Inquiry Response: Respond to payroll, benefits, time off, compensation, immigration, HR policy and employee data inquiries.
- Case Management: Record and manage customer interactions using the designated case management system.
- Resolution: Follow assigned cases through investigation, resolution and closure.
- Knowledge Base: Support the knowledge base by creating, updating and improving employee-facing knowledge articles.
- Vendor Partnership: Partner with third-party payroll vendors such as ADP to support accurate and compliant payroll processing.
- Data Validation: Validate employee data changes and help maintain synchronization between HR systems and payroll providers.
- Workday Expertise: Develop knowledge of Workday and support employee and manager self-service processes.
- Process Improvement: Identify inefficient processes and support AI-driven improvements and automation.
- Regional Compliance: Maintain appropriate knowledge of regional HR, payroll and policy requirements.
- UAT Support: Support User Acceptance Testing for system enhancements and AI-enabled HR tools.
- Project Participation: Participate in regional and global projects designed to improve payroll and employee service processes.
Skills and Eligibility Criteria
Educational Background: BA, B.Sc, B.Com, BBA, BMS or MBA degree or a related educational background relevant to payroll, HR or business operations.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a payroll, HR or shared services environment supporting APAC countries, specifically including India, Australia and Singapore.
Mandatory Technical Skills:
- APAC Payroll: Experience supporting payroll processes across India, Australia and Singapore
- Workday HCM: Prior experience with Workday or a similar HRIS is highly desirable
- Case Management: Experience using case management systems to track and resolve employee requests
- Payroll Vendors: Experience working with third-party payroll providers such as ADP
- Payroll Compliance: Understanding of regional payroll legislation, statutory contributions and tax deductions
- Regional Knowledge: Familiarity with Superannuation in Australia and CPF in Singapore
- Data Integrity: Strong attention to employee data accuracy and validation
- AI and Automation: Ability to learn new technologies and identify opportunities for process automation
