Job Description
For the Apple Recruitment 2026 drive, the team is looking for a motivated Junior DevSecOps Engineer. You will support the design, implementation, and maintenance of secure CI/CD pipelines and contribute to automation efforts. This role is ideal for engineers who want to grow in DevSecOps practices. You will collaborate with development and QA teams to enforce quality and security standards across the software development lifecycle (SDLC), working with both Java and Python-based applications.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Pipeline Management: Assist in building, maintaining, and improving CI/CD pipelines.
- Quality Assurance: Implement and support quality gates, including code quality checks, security scans, and test coverage.
- Automation: Support automation efforts using Python and Ansible.
- Collaboration: Work with development and QA teams to integrate security into the SDLC.
- System Admin: Perform basic Linux system administration, monitoring, logging, and incident response.
- Infrastructure: Help maintain infrastructure configuration and documentation following DevSecOps best practices.
Skills and Eligibility Criteria
Educational Background: B.E/B.Tech or equivalent in Computer Science or related fields.
Mandatory Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Python and familiarity with Java-based applications.
- Experience or strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools like Ansible.
- Basic knowledge of Linux system administration and troubleshooting.
- Strong foundation in system engineering, security practices, and a desire to learn DevSecOps.
