Job Description

As an Apprentice within the GMNS team, you will dive deep into Risk Reporting and Analytics. You will assist in building Management Information System (MIS) solutions that track key risk and compliance metrics across global merchant networks. Your role involves working with both structured and unstructured data to identify patterns, process gaps, and key risk indicators that drive data-based decisions for leadership. You will be responsible for preparing high-impact dashboards and presentations using Excel and PowerPoint, while gaining exposure to advanced tools like SQL, Python, and Power BI. Working in a hybrid model, you will collaborate with cross-functional global teams to automate reporting workflows using AI tools. This role is a perfect launchpad for those interested in the intersection of financial services, data science, and risk management.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Support: Support the development of MIS reporting solutions for risk and compliance metrics.
  • Analysis: Perform data analysis to identify trends and key risk indicators (KRIs).
  • Assistance: Assist in root cause analysis by gathering data and identifying risk drivers.
  • Development: Develop and maintain automated dashboards and presentations for leadership review.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with global stakeholders to support risk-based decision-making.
  • Contribution: Contribute to process improvement efforts using AI and advanced automation tools.
  • Documentation: Document reporting frameworks, methodologies, and operational workflows.
  • Handling: Handle ad-hoc analysis projects focused on strengthening the control environment.

Skills and Eligibility Criteria

Educational Background: B.Tech/B.E, BCA, or B.Sc in Computer Science/Information Technology.

Experience: Freshers (2024/2025/2026 Batch)

Mandatory Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Advanced formulas)
  • PowerPoint

Competencies:

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and high attention to detail.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL, Python, or Power BI (Preferred).
  • Familiarity with Risk Management or Financial Services concepts is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication for stakeholder collaboration.
  • Ability to work efficiently with large, complex datasets.
