Job Description:
For the CGI Off Campus Drive 2026, the company is seeking a motivated Apprentice to join the Artificial Intelligence team. The ideal candidate should be ready to work in shifts and extended hours as needed. The role involves working on cutting-edge technologies like Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Large Language Models (LLMs).
Responsibilities:
- Assisting in the development of NLP models for text classification, NER, and summarization.
- Supporting data preprocessing, tokenization, and data annotation workflows.
- Collaborating with senior engineers and linguists on real-world problems.
- Evaluating model performance using metrics like BLEU, ROUGE, and F1-score.
- Documenting experiments, datasets, and model behaviors clearly.
- Staying updated with the latest research in Transformers, LLMs, and Prompt Engineering.
- Working in shifts and extended hours to meet project deliverables.
Skills and Eligibility Criteria:
- Educational Background: B.Tech Graduate (CS/IT preferred).
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Python.
- Communication: Excellent written and oral communication skills are mandatory.
- Flexibility: Readiness to work in rotational shifts and extended hours.
