Job Description
For the AtkinsRéalis Recruitment 2026 drive, the company is seeking a motivated Mechanical Engineering Graduate to join their team in the water and wastewater sector. This role offers hands-on experience in designing mechanical equipment and systems that support critical water treatment and distribution infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Assisting in preparing mechanical designs for water and wastewater treatment facilities.
- Supporting the sizing and selection of pumps, valves, pipes, and mechanical equipment.
- Compiling mechanical equipment specifications (e.g., screens, macerators, blowers).
- Developing mechanical General Arrangement (GA) drawings.
- Assisting in the development of P&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams) and control philosophies.
- Reviewing supplier/contractor submittments and technical data.
- Participating in occasional site visits for surveys and data collection.
Skills and Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Background: B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- Communication: Good communication and soft skills to function in a multidiscipline team.
- Domain Knowledge: Some knowledge of industry best practices, regulations, and codes pertinent to the Water Industry.
- Attitude: Exhibit positive energy, enthusiasm, and self-motivation.
- Innovation: Ability to contribute new innovative ideas and make suggestions.
