Job Description
For the Qualcomm drive, the team is seeking an Associate Engineer responsible for the integration and test execution of RF, 5G, and 4G protocols. This role goes beyond traditional testing; you will be responsible for the development of intelligent automation using Generative AI.
You will interwork with development teams to identify potential fixes for software defects and retest them. The role requires a strong understanding of 3GPP specifications and call processing flows.
Roles and Responsibilities
As an Associate Engineer at Qualcomm, your key responsibilities will include:
- Test Execution: Executing tests for RF, 5G/LTE Protocol, Performance, and InterRAT scenarios.
- Automation: Using scripting languages like Python or Perl for the automation of test execution and log analysis.
- AI Integration: Developing intelligent automation solutions leveraging Generative AI.
- Debugging: Supporting troubleshooting and reproducing customer failures for debugging.
- Analysis: Analyzing and reporting software defects and collaborating with dev teams for fixes.
Skills and Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for Qualcomm drive, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
- Minimum Skills:
- Good knowledge of Python/Perl for test automation.
- Strong call processing knowledge as per 3GPP specifications for 5G/4G phones.
