Job Description

For the IRIS Software Recruitment 2026 drive, the Quality Engineering team is seeking an Associate Engineer focused on Performance Testing. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HTTP/HTTPS, web applications, and client-server architecture.

You will be responsible for executing performance tests to analyze response time, throughput, latency, and concurrency. The role requires a blend of testing tool expertise (JMeter/LoadRunner) and scripting knowledge to identify bottlenecks in complex applications.

Roles and Responsibilities

As an Associate Engineer – QE at IRIS Software, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Test Execution: Conducting performance testing using Apache JMeter or LoadRunner.
  • Analysis: Monitoring and analyzing performance metrics like throughput, latency, and server bottlenecks.
  • Scripting: Writing scripts in Java (Core Java 8+), Python, or JavaScript for test automation.
  • API Testing: Testing API Middleware using SOAP and REST protocols.
  • CI/CD Integration: integrating performance tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitLab.
  • Collaboration: Collaborating with development teams to resolve performance issues and improve application stability.

Skills and Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for IRIS Software Recruitment 2026, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: 1–2 years of specific experience in performance testing.
  • Mandatory Technical Skills:
    • Hands-on experience with Apache JMeter and LoadRunner.
    • Strong understanding of HTTP/HTTPS and API (REST/SOAP).
    • Basic knowledge of programming: Java, Python, or JavaScript.
    • Understanding of bottleneck analysis, ramp-up strategy, and concurrency.
  • Preferred Skills (Bonus):
    • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
    • Experience with Cloud Platforms like Azure.
