Job Description

For the BT Recruitment drive, the company is seeking an Associate Engineer to join their software engineering team. You will be responsible for developing mission-critical applications across different platforms and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions.

You will collaborate with Developers, Leads, Architects, and Delivery Managers to meet business requirements. The role involves hands-on coding, troubleshooting, and keeping applications up to date by applying patches and upgrades.

Roles and Responsibilities

As an Associate Engineer at BT Group, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Application Development: Developing mission-critical applications using Java/J2EE technologies.
  • Maintenance: Keeping applications up to date by working with IT to test and apply patches/upgrades.
  • Collaboration: Collaborating with cross-functional teams (Architects, Leads) to deliver solutions.
  • Troubleshooting: Hands-on coding, troubleshooting, and fixing bugs in Java web applications.
  • Learning: Continuously learning new processes and multiple technologies to stay updated.

Skills and Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for BT Recruitment drive, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Educational Background: B.E / B.Tech in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Mandatory Technical Skills:
    • Strong proficiency in Java/Java EE and Spring basics.
    • Experience with Hibernate and RESTful services.

    • Familiarity with MySQL or any other Relational Database.
