Job Description
For the Q2 ebanking Recruitment 2026 drive, the team is seeking an ambitious Software Developer in Test to ensure the highest quality for online banking software across web, mobile, and voice platforms. You will work in a fast-paced, close-knit team, balancing attention to detail with creativity.
This role provides hands-on experience in designing test plans and implementing test automation using JavaScript. You will support product design discussions and ensure compliance with security and privacy policies.
Roles and Responsibilities
As an Associate Software Developer in Test at Q2, your key responsibilities will include:
- Test Planning: Designing comprehensive test plans, documenting them, and executing them to report outcomes.
- Automation: Authoring automated test scripts in JavaScript or equivalent scripting languages.
- Testing: Testing web-based software (front-end and back-end) and understanding TCP/IP communications.
- Collaboration: Participating in product design sessions and assisting in driving product quality.
- Compliance: Ensuring compliance with security, availability, confidentiality, and privacy policies.
Skills and Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for Q2 ebanking Recruitment 2026, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in a software-related field (B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc).
- Experience: 1–2 years of relevant experience in software testing or development.
- Mandatory Technical Skills:
- Knowledge of JS scripting, closures, namespacing, and debugging.
- Experience with Version Control Systems (Git/Subversion).
- Knowledge of Web Services and RESTful APIs.
- Strong experience testing Web-based software (Front-end & Back-end).
- Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with SAAS (Software as a Service) models.
- Understanding of TCP/IP communications.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication, teaming, and collaboration skills (Fluent English required).
