Job Description
Automation Anywhere is seeking a highly motivated Junior AI/ML Engineer to bridge the gap between customers and internal teams. This role involves analyzing and resolving customer-reported issues while simultaneously creating AI-driven solutions to streamline engineering workflows. The ideal candidate thrives on solving complex production issues and building intelligent tools, such as automated log analysis assistants, code-understanding agents, and troubleshooting copilots, to improve developer productivity.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Customer Issue Analysis: Investigate, analyze, and reproduce customer-reported issues in production environments by debugging application logs and telemetry.
- AI/ML Tooling: Design and build AI-powered tools like automated log analysis assistants and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) recommender systems.
- Agentic Workflows: Develop workflows for intelligent search over logs, automated test generation, and impact analysis of code changes.
- Resolution: Collaborate with senior engineers to develop fixes and communicate findings with clarity to internal stakeholders.
- Collaboration: Partner closely with Support and CloudOps teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Continuous Improvement: Analyze patterns in customer issues to contribute to stronger observability and monitoring capabilities.
Skills and Eligibility Criteria
Experience: Early-career engineers suitable for a Junior/Associate role.
Mandatory Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in AI/ML frameworks and model development
- Strong skills in Debugging, Log Analysis, and troubleshooting complex issues
- Knowledge of Python (or similar languages used in ML/Backend)
- Understanding of CloudOps and observability tools
Competencies:
- Must be willing to work in the EST Shift (4:30 PM – 2:00 AM IST)
- Strong communication skills to maintain customer trust and ability to collaborate across teams
