Job Description

For the Calix Recruitment 2026 drive, the Product Organization is looking for a highly skilled Associate Software Engineer to join their growing team. You will focus on designing and developing Android applications that are scalable and high-performance.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Kotlin and Jetpack Libraries and a strong understanding of modern Android UI development using Compose. You will integrate REST APIs and assist in debugging and performance tuning.

Roles and Responsibilities

As an Associate Software Engineer (Android) at Calix, your key responsibilities will include:

  • App Development: Developing and maintaining Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack Libraries.
  • UI Implementation: Implementing modern UI screens using Jetpack Compose.
  • API Integration: Integrating REST APIs and handling JSON responses efficiently.
  • Quality Assurance: Assisting in debugging, testing, and implementing performance improvements.
  • Collaboration: Collaborating with cross-functional teams and following coding standards and best practices.

Skills and Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for Calix Recruitment 2026, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Educational Background: B.E/B.Tech in Computer Science or related fields (Preferred).
  • Experience: 1–2 years of experience in Android development.
