Job Description
For the Finastra Recruitment 2026 drive, the team is looking for an Associate Software Engineer to participate in software design meetings and analyze user needs. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing high-quality code while working closely with stakeholders to resolve issues. The role requires a strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and the ability to provide independent solutions to technical problems. You will work in a collaborative environment supporting product releases and fixing application issues.
Responsibilities
As an Associate Software Engineer at Finastra, your key responsibilities will include:
- Code Development: Designing and developing high-quality code using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
- Analysis: Participating in software design meetings and analyzing user needs to determine technical requirements.
- Debugging: Testing, debugging, analyzing, and fixing application problems/issues in a timely fashion.
- Collaboration: Interacting with internal stakeholders to support product releases and resolve program problems.
- Process Adherence: Following the software development lifecycle process and methodologies.
Skills and Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for Finastra Recruitment 2026, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Educational Background: Must possess a B.E / B.Tech degree.
- Experience: 1 Year of software development experience including design and development.
- Mandatory Technical Skills:
- Strong experience with JAVA, SQL Database, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge of SDLC methodologies.
- Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, Angular, HTML, CSS.
- Experience in the Financial Industry.
- Soft Skills: Effective verbal/written communication and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
