Job Description

For the Goldman Sachs Recruitment 2026 drive, the Concert team is seeking talented Java Developers. In this role, you will be instrumental in implementing innovative capabilities within the Concert ecosystem, refactoring existing components, and providing critical Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) support.

You will work on developing high-performance distributed trading applications emphasizing resiliency, optimal performance, and uncompromising quality. The role requires translating complex challenges into robust software solutions using a modern tech stack.

Roles and Responsibilities

As an Associate Software Engineer at Goldman Sachs, your key responsibilities will include:

  • System Development: Designing and developing robust software solutions for the Concert ecosystem.
  • Refactoring: Refactoring and enhancing existing components to improve performance and scalability.
  • Distributed Systems: Working with messaging frameworks like Apache Kafka to build distributed systems.
  • Cloud Engineering: Utilizing AWS services (ECS/EKS, CloudFormation, MSK) for deployment and management.
  • Database Management: Working with both NoSQL (MongoDB) and Relational (PostgreSQL) databases.

Skills and Eligibility Criteria
