Unlike a traditional coding role, this position focuses heavily on automating infrastructure, managing pipelines, and optimizing software delivery.
You will work alongside senior engineers to deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes. You will also be responsible for monitoring pipeline performance and resolving issues in software builds.
Roles and Responsibilities
As an Associate Software Engineer at Pega, your key responsibilities will include:
- Pipeline Automation: Assisting in developing, maintaining, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
- Cloud & Infrastructure: Supporting the setup and troubleshooting of DevOps tools hosted on-premise and on AWS Cloud.
- Containerization: Working with senior engineers to deploy and manage applications using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS).
- Artifact Management: Managing artifact repositories using JFrog Artifactory.
- Scripting: Contributing to automating infrastructure using Python or Shell scripting.
- Monitoring: Setting up observability using tools like Grafana, Splunk, and AWS CloudWatch.
Skills and Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for Pegasystems Recruitment 2026, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Educational Background: B.E / B.Tech in a relevant field.
- Experience: 1-2 years of hands-on experience in software development or DevOps.
