Job Description
As an Associate Support Engineer at Blue Yonder, you will deliver high-quality application support to global customers by effectively investigating, diagnosing, and resolving platform incidents. You will investigate proactive monitoring alerts to ensure maximum SaaS environment uptime, maintaining strict SLA/SLO compliance and excellent case management. The role involves collaborating with core engineering, product management, and external partner teams to troubleshoot complex application errors, monitor application health, and support integrations and database layer anomalies. You will also contribute to Knowledge-Centered Support (KCS) by documenting resolution processes and identifying opportunities for automation and continuous infrastructure improvement.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Application Support: Deliver high-quality application support to global customers by effectively investigating, diagnosing, and resolving platform incidents.
- Proactive Monitoring: Investigate proactive monitoring alerts generated through internal monitoring tools to ensure maximum SaaS environment uptime.
- SLA Compliance: Maintain strict SLA/SLO compliance while demonstrating excellent case management and premium customer satisfaction metrics.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate seamlessly with core engineering, product management, and external partner teams to troubleshoot complex application errors.
- System Monitoring: Monitor application health, identify performance bottlenecks, and support integrations, mobile systems, and database layer anomalies.
- Knowledge Contribution: Contribute actively to the Knowledge-Centered Support (KCS) architecture by documenting resolution processes and writing technical articles.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for scripts automation, workflow optimization, and continuous infrastructure improvement.
Skills and Eligibility Criteria
Educational Background: The candidates should possess a B.E/B.Tech degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
Experience: Freshers
Mandatory Technical Skills:
- Foundational knowledge of SQL, Oracle, and database querying
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure), Kubernetes, and containerized applications
- Understanding of application debugging, logging, and troubleshooting techniques
Competencies:
- Continuous Learning: Must possess a continuous learning mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Shift Work: Ability to operate productively within a fast-paced, 24x7 shift rotation customer support ecosystem.
- Integration: Exposure to API integrations, MuleSoft, or similar integration environments.
- Monitoring Tools: Knowledge of application monitoring and diagnostics platforms such as AppDynamics, Splunk, Kibana, or similar tools.
- CI/CD: Basic understanding of CI/CD pipeline concepts using GitHub and Jenkins.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to handle global, cross-functional stakeholders with empathy.
