The global business services team is scheduled to hire an Associate Support Engineer – Salesforce for its development facility in Hyderabad, India. Roles and Responsibilities
- Incident & Bug Resolution: Deliver hands-on support for software break-fix issues, incident troubleshooting, and immediate bug remediation for the Salesforce TPM & KAM platforms.
- SLA Compliance: Track, investigate, and resolve ticket issues reported by global business units in alignment with internal Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Requirements Alignment: Collaborate closely with systems analysts and business stakeholders to gather technical specifications for future CRM feature implementations.
- System Maintenance & Updates: Monitor application performance, handle configuration modifications, perform regular software patches, and adapt platforms to new seasonal Salesforce releases.
- Cross-system Integrations: Test and debug interfaces linking Salesforce CRM to external third-party software applications (ERPs, data warehouses, analytics channels).
- Documentation: Author training manuals, step-by-step resolution guides, and build out the internal support team knowledge repository.
Skills and Eligibility Criteria
Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
Experience: 1 to 2 years of proven professional experience in Salesforce administration, application architecture, or technical support.
Mandatory Technical Skills:
- Salesforce administration (specific focus on Salesforce Consumer Goods (CG) Cloud and Trade Promotion Management (TPM) highly desired)
- Hands-on familiarity with Salesforce Field Service, Einstein Analytics, MuleSoft, and native Salesforce integration tools, including API integrations
- Proficient with Salesforce declarative automation tools (Flows, validation rules, approval processes)
- Ability to review Apex-based custom code
- Active Salesforce Certified Administrator, Sales Cloud Consultant, or Consumer Goods Cloud Accredited Professional certifications (preferred)
Competencies:
- Excellent root cause analysis (RCA) skills
- Managing customer support tickets and working in fast-paced production support settings to meet strict SLA targets
