Job Description
The Associate Web Developer, IT plays an essential role in supporting the Edwards Marketing Technologies team by building, debugging, and maintaining web applications and modules that power global digital consumer experiences. Working alongside senior front-end engineers, UI/UX designers, and business product owners, you will contribute across the full software development lifecycle. This role guarantees that all web solutions meet stringent enterprise baselines for execution speeds, brand standards, data security, and digital inclusion parameters.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Web Interface Development: Design, refine, and deploy user-friendly web interfaces, components, and modular frontend architectures according to approved visual wireframes and regulatory compliance standards.
- Security Enforcement: Enforce secure development methodologies aligned directly with OWASP Top 10 guidelines to actively mitigate frontend vulnerabilities and technical risks.
- Cross-Browser Functionality: Conduct regular cross-browser, multi-device functionality checks to ensure absolute performance parity across variable mobile, desktop, and tablet environments.
- Accessibility Compliance: Ensure all user experiences comply accurately with international digital accessibility mandates, adhering firmly to WCAG 2.2 AA specifications.
- HTML Email Development: Develop and validate high-quality, responsive HTML email templates, troubleshooting client-specific rendering issues within major marketing software frameworks like Adobe Engage, Customer Journey Analytics (CJA), and Adobe Launch.
- Code Release Participation: Participate actively in scheduled weekly code releases, including regression validation, post-production diagnostic testing, and immediate bug remediation.
Skills and Eligibility Criteria
Educational Background: Possession of a formal Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent technical field of study.
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of practical, professional experience developing modern, high-performance web interfaces.
Mandatory Technical Skills:
- HTML, CSS, JavaScript, ReactJS, and NextJS.
- Practical working knowledge of Gitlab, Bitbucket, or standard equivalent repositories—including a mature understanding of branching strategies, merge request reviews, and conflict resolutions.
- Fundamental knowledge of core unit testing mechanics, testing suites, and validating UI blocks to guarantee robust code quality standards.
- Foundational exposure to AI-assisted coding companions like GitHub Copilot or Claude Code Assist.
