Job Description
For the Harman Internship 2026 program, the Car Audio division is looking for a Test Engineer Intern. You will be involved in the development and testing of software following a defined process. The role requires a blend of coding, scripting, and hardware testing. You will implement code, develop unit test plans, and verify functionality on project hardware. This role requires working closely with cross-functional engineering teams in the Bangalore office to troubleshoot issues using tools like oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.
Responsibilities
As an Audio Test Intern at Harman, your key responsibilities will include:
- Development: Developing embedded C Code and Python scripts for automation and testing.
- Testing: Developing unit test plans, integration test plans, and verifying software functionality.
- Hardware Interaction: Performing functional testing on corresponding project hardware.
- Tool Usage: Utilizing software development tools such as debuggers, emulators, and compilers.
- Troubleshooting: Using oscilloscopes and logic analyzers to troubleshoot embedded system issues.
Skills and Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for Harman Internship 2026, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Educational Background: B.E / B.Tech in a relevant field (Electronics/Communication/CS).
- Experience: Freshers are eligible.
- Mandatory Technical Skills:
- Strong coding abilities in C and Embedded C.
- Exposure to scripting languages like Python or Perl.
- Strong knowledge of Basic Electronics and Power Electronics.
- Familiarity with Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS).
- Preferred Skills (Bonus):
