Job Description

For the Autodesk Recruitment 2026 drive, the team is looking for a Process Automation Engineer. This role is heavily hands-on and focuses on designing, building, operating, and supporting automation workflows rather than traditional application development. You will work with low-code/no-code platforms like n8n and Microsoft Power Automate, supplemented by Python-based AWS Lambda functions. The goal is to integrate enterprise systems through APIs and event-driven workflows to enable reliable execution of business processes.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Workflow Design: Designing and developing automation workflows using n8n and Microsoft Power Automate.
  • Backend Logic: Building Python-based AWS Lambda functions to support automation logic and transformations.
  • Integration: Integrating internal and external systems using RESTful APIs, webhooks, and events.
  • Deployment: Deploying automation services using AWS-native patterns and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Monitoring: Monitoring executions, analyzing failures, and participating in incident troubleshooting.
  • Code Quality: Writing clean, maintainable, and testable Python code.
  • Configuration: Managing workflow configurations using JSON and YAML.

Skills and Eligibility Criteria

Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.

Experience: 0–2 years of experience in software development, scripting, or automation engineering.

Mandatory Technical Skills:

  • Foundational to intermediate proficiency in Python (Required).
  • Hands-on exposure to workflow automation platforms (n8n, Power Automate).
  • Experience working with JSON and/or YAML configuration files.

Competencies:

  • Exposure to backend automation orchestration and strong communication skills.
