Purpose of the role To design, develop and improve software, utilising various engineering methodologies, that provides business, platform, and technology capabilities for our customers and colleagues.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Development and delivery: of high-quality software solutions by using industry aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools.
- Code Quality: Ensuring that code is scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance.
- Cross-functional collaboration: with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements, devise solution strategies, and ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.
- Collaboration with peers: participate in code reviews, and promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing.
- Industry Trends: Stay informed of industry technology trends and innovations and actively contribute to the organization’s technology communities to foster a culture of technical excellence and growth.
- Secure Coding: Adherence to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities, protect sensitive data, and ensure secure software solutions.
- Testing: Implementation of effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability.
Skills and Eligibility Criteria
Educational Background: B.E/B.Tech
Mandatory Technical Skills:
- Experience with Salesforce in a development and configuration
- LWC development experience is must
- Extensive development experience using Visual Force, Apex controllers, Triggers, Batch Apex, and other programmatic solutions on the Salesforce platform
- Experienced in building integrations with Salesforce and APIs with the Salesforce platform
- In-depth knowledge of Salesforce SOAP API, REST API, and BULK API
- Knowledge of Salesforce Best Practices using Apex and Visualforce
- Should have a good understanding of how to design and build Omni Scripts
- Implement Salesforce solutions that adhere to platform best practices.
- Typical Salesforce implementations include custom platform development (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components), integrations with other components (often using middleware tools).
- Develop custom solutions and interfaces on top of the Salesforce platform
- Develop, test, and document custom development, integrations, and data migration elements of a Salesforce implementation
- Build and lead Development and Delivery Leadership and Solution Owner assets (e.g. offerings, standard methodologies, white papers, learning curricula, etc.
- Strong background in development of enterprise systems as part of a complete software product lifecycle.
