Job Description
The Management Trainee position at Birlasoft is intended for fresh graduates who want to build a career in Oracle ERP consulting. Selected candidates will work with global clients, learning how enterprise applications are used to support business processes. The role combines business-process understanding with technology implementation and consulting, making it relevant for engineering and MBA graduates interested in enterprise applications, supply chain, business analytics, and digital transformation.
Roles and Responsibilities
- ERP Implementation: Support Oracle ERP implementation, enhancement, upgrade, and support projects for global clients.
- Configuration and Testing: Assist with configuration, testing, and validation of Oracle ERP modules under the guidance of senior consultants.
- Business Process Mapping: Understand business requirements and map them to Oracle applications, providing implementation advice for different business scenarios.
- Documentation: Prepare functional specifications, technical documentation, test cases, and user guides.
- Reports and Integrations: May involve developing or supporting reports, interfaces, extensions, integrations, and workflows.
- AI Application: Understand how AI can improve ERP implementation, testing, documentation, and business processes, including using AI to assist with various tasks and improve productivity.
Skills and Eligibility Criteria
Educational Background: B.E/B.Tech in any engineering stream, OR MBA in Finance, HR, Operations, Supply Chain, Systems, or Business Analytics. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, or equivalent.
Experience: Freshers (2025, 2026, or recent graduates).
Mandatory Technical Skills:
- Basic understanding of ERP concepts and business processes
- Knowledge of SQL and databases
- Programming fundamentals
- Exposure to cloud technologies, analytics, or automation tools
- Awareness or practical exposure to AI-powered productivity and development tools (ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Google Gemini, Claude, GitHub Copilot)
- Basic prompt engineering knowledge is also preferred
