Job Description
Birlasoft is hiring freshers for the OTM Techno-Functional Consultant role, providing exposure to Oracle Transportation Management and enterprise supply chain processes. This position is ideal for graduates interested in business analysis, consulting, and enterprise applications. You will assist with requirement gathering, solution design, configuration, and testing, while also learning about Oracle Cloud technologies and leveraging AI tools to improve productivity in documentation and analysis.
Roles and Responsibilities
- OTM & Supply Chain Learning: Learn Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) functionality, business processes, and best practices, and support solution design and configuration activities.
- Requirement & Documentation: Assist with requirement gathering and analysis, and prepare functional specifications, technical documentation, and user guides.
- Testing & Deployment: Participate in software testing and deployment activities, supporting production issues, incident resolution, and enhancement requests.
- Collaboration & Integration: Collaborate with business users, technical teams, and project stakeholders, and participate in system integration and data validation activities.
- UAT & AI Tools: Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), learn emerging Oracle Cloud and Supply Chain technologies, and use AI tools to improve productivity in documentation, analysis, testing, and solution development.
Skills and Eligibility Criteria
Educational Background: B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline. MBA candidates specializing in Operations, Supply Chain, Systems, or Business Analytics can also apply. Candidates from the 2025 and 2026 batches are eligible.
Experience: Freshers
Mandatory Technical Skills:
- Basic knowledge of SQL and databases (Preferred)
- Programming fundamentals (Preferred)
- Supply Chain and Logistics processes (Preferred)
- ERP and enterprise applications (Preferred)
- Oracle Cloud (Preferred)
- APIs, XML, JSON, and integration concepts (Preferred)
- Business process analysis (Preferred)
- Generative AI tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Gemini, or Claude (Preferred)
- Basic prompt engineering concepts (Preferred)
Competencies:
- Strong analytical and logical reasoning abilities
- Good problem-solving skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness to learn enterprise applications and supply chain business processes
- Interest in Oracle Cloud and enterprise technology solutions
