Job Description
Birlasoft is hiring freshers for the role of OTM Techno-Functional Consultant. This opportunity is suitable for graduates interested in Oracle Transportation Management, Supply Chain, ERP, enterprise applications, business analysis, and consulting. The selected candidates will receive exposure to Oracle Transportation Management and enterprise supply chain processes.
Roles and Responsibilities
- OTM Learning: Learn Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) functionality, business processes, and best practices.
- Requirement Support: Assist with requirement gathering and analysis.
- Solution Support: Support solution design and configuration activities.
- Testing & Deployment: Participate in software testing and deployment activities.
- Production Support: Support production issues, incident resolution, and enhancement requests.
- Documentation: Prepare functional specifications and technical documentation, and create user guides and other project documentation.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with business users, technical teams, and project stakeholders.
- Integration & Validation: Participate in system integration and data validation activities.
- UAT Support: Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Cloud & Supply Chain Tech: Learn emerging Oracle Cloud and Supply Chain technologies.
- AI Tool Usage: Use AI tools to improve productivity in documentation, analysis, testing, and solution development.
Skills and Eligibility Criteria
Educational Background: B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline. MBA candidates specializing in Operations, Supply Chain, Systems, or Business Analytics can also apply. Candidates from the 2025 and 2026 batches are eligible.
Experience: Freshers.
Mandatory Technical Skills:
- Basic knowledge of SQL and databases (Preferred)
- Programming fundamentals (Preferred)
- Supply Chain and Logistics processes (Preferred)
- ERP and enterprise applications (Preferred)
- Oracle Cloud (Preferred)
- APIs, XML, JSON, and integration concepts (Preferred)
- Business process analysis (Preferred)
- Generative AI tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Gemini, or Claude (Preferred)
- Basic prompt engineering concepts (Preferred)
Competencies:
- Strong analytical and logical reasoning abilities
- Good problem-solving skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness to learn enterprise applications and supply chain business processes
- Interest in Oracle Cloud and enterprise technology solutions
- Good academic record
