Job Description
Capgemini is conducting an Off Campus Drive 2026 for the Associate Software Engineer position in Bangalore, as part of its Exceller program. This role primarily focuses on L1 technical support and voice-based helpdesk operations. Candidates will interact with users, understand issues, provide basic technical assistance, and follow support procedures. The position emphasizes communication, customer interaction, basic computer and MS Office skills, and troubleshooting, rather than advanced programming. Prior helpdesk experience is an advantage but not mandatory. Candidates must be willing to work in a 24/7 rotational shift environment. Roles and Responsibilities
- L1 Technical Support: Provide first-level technical assistance to users, focusing on identifying common issues, following standard troubleshooting procedures, and resolving problems within scope.
- Voice Process: Take helpdesk calls and communicate directly with users, requiring careful listening and clear, professional explanation of solutions.
- Issue Troubleshooting: Investigate basic computer or application-related issues and guide users through appropriate troubleshooting steps.
- Escalation: Escalate unresolved issues to higher support levels according to established processes.
Skills and Eligibility Criteria
Educational Background: B.E, B.Tech, or any degree.
Experience: Freshers / Experienced.
