Job Description
Cargill Recruitment 2026 is hiring for the position of Data & AI Solutions Specialist in Bangalore, Karnataka. This is an opportunity for experienced candidates with a Bachelor's degree and strong skills in SQL, Power BI, Microsoft Power Platform and AI-enabled business solutions. The role focuses on collecting, preparing and analyzing structured datasets, developing Power BI dashboards, creating automated reporting solutions and supporting AI-enabled applications using Microsoft technologies such as Power Apps, Microsoft Copilot and Copilot Studio. Candidates will work closely with cross-functional teams, digital technology teams and data engineering teams to deliver accurate, data-driven insights and solutions. The position involves data validation, statistical analysis, process improvement and business reporting. Shift Timing: 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM IST.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Data Processing: Collect, process, prepare and analyze moderately complex datasets.
- Insight Extraction: Extract meaningful insights from structured business data.
- Reporting Systems: Develop and maintain automated reporting systems.
- Power BI Development: Develop, enhance and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards, creating data models, visualizations, KPIs and performance-oriented reports.
- SQL Operations: Use SQL to extract, transform, analyze and validate data, and create and maintain database views to support reporting and analytics requirements.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns and anomalies.
- Process Improvement: Implement improvements to data collection and reporting processes.
- Methodology Application: Apply established methodologies for data management and reporting.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional, digital technology and data engineering teams.
- Data Integrity: Support data integrity and accuracy across reporting and analytics solutions.
- Decision Support: Conduct data analysis to generate actionable insights for decision making.
- Reporting & Validation: Perform reporting and analysis to support data accuracy, consistency and security.
- AI Solution Development: Develop AI-enabled solutions using Microsoft Power Platform technologies, and build and support Copilot Studio agents for broader user groups.
Skills and Eligibility Criteria
Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (B.E, B.Tech, B.Sc, BCA or relevant Bachelor's degree).
Experience: Experienced professionals with practical knowledge of data analysis, SQL, relational databases, reporting and Microsoft data and AI technologies.
Mandatory Technical Skills:
- Strong SQL skills for extracting, transforming, analyzing and validating structured data.
- Ability to develop and maintain reports, dashboards, data models, KPIs and visualizations using Power BI.
- Ability to design and develop business solutions using Microsoft Power Apps.
- Familiarity with Microsoft's AI capabilities and Copilot-based solutions (Microsoft Copilot).
- Ability to build and support AI agents and AI-enabled solutions using Copilot Studio.
- Experience working with structured datasets and database views (Relational Databases).
- Ability to identify trends, patterns, anomalies and actionable insights (Data Analysis).
- Understanding of data accuracy, consistency, quality and security (Data Validation).
