Job Description
Cargill is hiring for the position of Data & AI Solutions Specialist in Bangalore, Karnataka. This is an opportunity for experienced candidates with a Bachelor's degree and strong skills in SQL, Power BI, Microsoft Power Platform and AI-enabled business solutions. The role focuses on collecting, preparing and analyzing structured datasets, developing Power BI dashboards, creating automated reporting solutions and supporting AI-enabled applications using Microsoft technologies such as Power Apps, Microsoft Copilot and Copilot Studio. Candidates will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver accurate, data-driven insights and solutions.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Collect, process, prepare and analyze moderately complex datasets.
- Extract meaningful insights from structured business data.
- Develop and maintain automated reporting systems.
- Develop, enhance and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards.
- Create data models, visualizations, KPIs and performance-oriented reports.
- Use SQL to extract, transform, analyze and validate data.
- Create and maintain database views to support reporting and analytics requirements.
- Perform statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns and anomalies.
- Implement improvements to data collection and reporting processes.
- Apply established methodologies for data management and reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional, digital technology and data engineering teams.
- Support data integrity and accuracy across reporting and analytics solutions.
- Conduct data analysis to generate actionable insights for decision making.
- Perform reporting and analysis to support data accuracy, consistency and security.
- Develop AI-enabled solutions using Microsoft Power Platform technologies.
- Build and support Copilot Studio agents for broader user groups.
Skills and Eligibility Criteria
Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc/BCA).
Experience: Experienced professionals with practical knowledge of data analysis, SQL, relational databases, reporting and Microsoft data and AI technologies.
Mandatory Technical Skills:
- Strong SQL skills for extracting, transforming, analyzing and validating structured data
- Power BI: Ability to develop and maintain reports, dashboards, data models, KPIs and visualizations
- Power Apps: Ability to design and develop business solutions using Microsoft Power Apps
- Microsoft Copilot: Familiarity with Microsoft's AI capabilities and Copilot-based solutions
- Copilot Studio: Ability to build and support AI agents and AI-enabled solutions
- Experience working with structured datasets and database views
- Data Analysis: Ability to identify trends, patterns, anomalies and actionable insights
- Data Validation: Understanding of data accuracy, consistency, quality and security
