Job Description
HARMAN International is hiring fresh graduates for the position of Certification Intern in Bangalore. This internship offers an opportunity to gain practical exposure to C, C++, Java, Android, embedded systems, software debugging, emulators, simulators, software releases, and quality assurance. Candidates will work in an environment where they can learn software development and testing practices while working with experienced engineering teams. As a Certification Intern, you will learn how software is developed, tested, debugged, released, and maintained within a technology-focused engineering environment, with a strong connection to Android and embedded systems.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Software Development: Learn software development using C, C++, Java, or other selected programming languages.
- Android Platform: Develop software applications and components on the Android platform; Build familiarity with Android development fundamentals.
- Software Testing: Learn how to test software using debuggers, emulators, and simulators; Participate in software testing and verification activities.
- Software Release: Learn software release processes and associated engineering practices; Support software quality assurance activities.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with engineering team members.
- Technical Knowledge: Develop practical knowledge of embedded software technologies; Stay informed about changing automotive technology trends; Continuously improve engineering knowledge and technical skills.
- Practices: Follow software development and quality practices used by the engineering team.
Skills and Eligibility Criteria
Educational Background: B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech/M.Sc/MCA degree.
Experience: Strong academic performance is preferred. Interest in software testing, debugging, emulators, simulators, software quality assurance, and release activities.
Mandatory Technical Skills:
- Good knowledge of C or C++.
- Knowledge of Java.
- Basic knowledge of Android is desirable.
- Knowledge of embedded systems or relevant project experience.
Competencies:
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn new technologies.
- Ability to work effectively as part of an engineering team.
- Comfortable working from the office as required.
