Job Description
As a Certification Intern at HARMAN, you will learn how software is developed, tested, debugged, released, and maintained within a technology-focused engineering environment. The role has a strong connection to Android and embedded systems, providing practical exposure to software development and testing practices while working with experienced engineering teams. Interns will learn how to use debuggers, emulators, and simulators to test software and identify potential issues, covering software quality assurance and release activities, which provides valuable exposure to professional engineering processes.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Software Development Learning: Learn software development using C, C++, Java, or other selected programming languages.
- Android Development: Develop software applications and components on the Android platform. Build familiarity with Android development fundamentals.
- Software Testing: Learn how to test software using debuggers, emulators, and simulators.
- Quality Assurance: Participate in software testing and verification activities.
- Release Process: Learn software release processes and associated engineering practices.
- Support QA: Support software quality assurance activities.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with engineering team members.
- Embedded Systems: Develop practical knowledge of embedded software technologies.
- Continuous Learning: Stay informed about changing automotive technology trends. Continuously improve engineering knowledge and technical skills.

Skills and Eligibility Criteria
Educational Background: B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech/M.Sc/MCA degree.
Experience: Freshers.
Mandatory Technical Skills:
- Good knowledge of C or C++ is beneficial.
- Knowledge of Java is also relevant to the position.
- Basic knowledge of Android is desirable.
- Knowledge of embedded systems or relevant project experience is preferred.
- Interest in software testing, debugging, emulators, and simulators.
- Interest in software quality assurance and release activities.
