Job Description

For the CGI Off Campus Drive 2026, the company is seeking an Apprentice to join as an Associate Software Engineer. The primary responsibility of this role is the support and maintenance of applications. You will work with a team of professionals to ensure the stability and performance of client applications. This role is ideal for freshers who possess a logical mindset and are eager to learn enterprise software processes.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Application Support: Monitoring and maintaining software applications to ensure uptime and performance.
  • Troubleshooting: Analyzing and resolving technical issues reported by users or monitoring systems.
  • Collaboration: Working closely with senior developers and support teams to implement fixes.
  • Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of issues, resolutions, and system changes.
  • Learning: Continuously learning new technologies and processes to contribute effectively to the team.

Skills and Eligibility Criteria

Educational Background: B.E / B.Tech in a relevant field (Computer Science, IT, ECE, etc.).

Experience: Freshers (0 Years) are eligible.

Mandatory Technical Skills:

  • Strong Analytical Thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Competencies:

  • Basic knowledge of programming concepts (Java, C++, or Python).
