Job Description
CGI is hiring for the position of API Developer in Hyderabad, suitable for freshers with a B.E/B.Tech degree and knowledge of Java-based backend development. The role focuses on developing and maintaining RESTful APIs using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture. Candidates will also work with Hibernate ORM for database integration, collaborate with frontend teams, perform unit testing and debugging, and support CI/CD pipelines. Roles and Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
- Develop services using a Microservices architecture.
- Implement Hibernate ORM for database integration.
- Optimize database queries and application data access.
- Collaborate with frontend teams working with Angular or React applications.
- Perform unit testing and debugging of backend services.
- Support performance tuning of API and backend applications.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and sprint planning.
- Contribute to timely delivery of software features.
- Support CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, testing, and deployments.
Skills and Eligibility Criteria
Educational Background: B.E/B.Tech degree.
Experience: Freshers.
