Job Description
For the CGI Recruitment 2026 drive, the team is looking for an Automation Developer to create dynamic software applications. The successful candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) and server-side logic. You will be responsible for writing and testing scalable code using Python, PowerShell, and Ansible. A key part of the role involves developing back-end components in BPMN 2.0 (Activiti/Flowable) and integrating multiple data sources into a single system.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Code Development: Writing scalable code using Python, PowerShell, Shell, and Ansible programming languages.
- Backend Development: Developing back-end components using BPMN 2.0 (Business Process Model and Notation).
- Integration: Integrating user-facing elements using server-side logic and connecting multiple data sources.
- Testing: Testing and debugging applications to ensure reliability.
- Coordination: Coordinating with development teams (Front-end & Back-end) to determine core application requirements.
- Database: Reprogramming existing databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL) to improve functionality.
Skills and Eligibility Criteria
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: 1-4 years of experience as an automation developer.
Mandatory Technical Skills:
- PowerShell Scripting for Windows
- Shell Scripting for Linux
- Python Programming (Deep understanding of threading/multi-process architecture)
- Experience with REST Services (REST-APIs)
Competencies:
- BPMN 2.0 (Activiti, Flowable) (Preferred)
- Java, JavaScript, and Ansible (Preferred)
- Database knowledge (MySQL/PostgreSQL) (Preferred)
