Job Description
For the Chargebee Recruitment 2026 drive, the engineering team is looking for an enthusiastic Associate Software Engineer. Unlike typical dev roles, this position specifically looks for candidates with a growing interest in AI and ML. You will work closely with senior engineers to design, develop, test, and deploy AI-powered features. This role blends traditional software engineering (building scalable APIs and backends) with modern AI capability integration.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Full Stack Development: Developing and maintaining software applications using modern languages like Java, Node.js, and React JS.
- AI Integration: Assisting in building and integrating AI/ML models into production systems.
- Data Engineering: Working with datasets for data cleaning, preprocessing, and feature engineering.
- API Development: Implementing and consuming REST APIs for AI-enabled services.
- Optimization: Debugging, troubleshooting, and optimizing application performance.
- Collaboration: Collaborating with Product, Data, and QA teams to deliver high-quality software.
Skills and Eligibility Criteria
Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. (Master's degree preferred).
Mandatory Technical Skills:
- Strong proficiency in Node.js, Java, and Spring Boot framework.
- Experience with React JS and MySQL.
- Familiarity with the AWS platform.
- Strong fundamentals in Data Structures, Algorithms (DSA), and OOP concepts.
- Basic understanding of Machine Learning concepts (Supervised/Unsupervised learning).
- Ability to work on data preprocessing and feature engineering.
