Cisco Systems, Inc. has officially announced its upcoming hiring pipeline drive under CISCO Off Campus Drive 2026 for the role of Software Engineer / Associate Solutions Engineer. This talent pipeline drive allows candidates to be evaluated across specialized technology engineering tracks according to their interests and core strengths, focusing on secure coding practices, data privacy, and clean architecture.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Software Development: Develop software adhering to Cisco’s "Design Thinking Principles" with focus on secure coding practices, data privacy, and clean architecture. Architect, code, test, troubleshoot, and debug scalable applications supporting operating systems, compilers, routers, and internet utilities.
- Agile Development: Work on feature design through completion using Agile development workflows (unit testing, acceptance testing, and continuous deployment).
- System Analysis: Analyze system operational issues, write comprehensive test cases, perform code reviews, and resolve technical blockers.
- Incident Management: Monitor incident reports, perform root-cause analysis, and participate in software postmortems.
Skills and Eligibility Criteria
Educational Background: Bachelor’s (B.E / B.Tech / B.Sc / BCA) or Master’s (M.E / M.Tech / M.Sc / MCA) in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or related fields. Target Batch: 2027 graduating students only.
Experience: Freshers (0 Years Experience).
Mandatory Technical Skills:
- Strong grasp of computer science fundamentals, data structures, and software engineering principles.
