Job Description
As a Graduate Specialist – Product Development at Classic Technologies, you will work alongside experienced developers to build, enhance, and maintain enterprise web applications. This role offers strong frontend development focus using Angular, with exposure to Java and Spring Boot for backend services, and MSSQL for database development. It's an ideal opportunity for freshers to develop into full-stack software engineers by integrating RESTful APIs and participating in Agile practices.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Frontend Development: Develop responsive and user-friendly web interfaces using Angular v12+, implement Angular UI components, forms, and data-binding functionality, integrate RESTful APIs with frontend applications, and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
- Backend Development: Assist in developing backend services using Java and Spring Boot, implement CRUD operations, participate in REST API development, and work with Hibernate/JPA for database integration.
- Database Development: Write basic MSSQL queries, stored procedures, and database views; assist with maintaining database consistency; test interactions between APIs and databases; and learn basic query optimization techniques.
- Development Practices: Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and code reviews, follow Agile development practices and internal coding standards, and collaborate with frontend, backend, and QA teams.
- Contribution: Support bug fixes and performance improvements, and contribute to the development of enterprise software modules.
Skills and Eligibility Criteria
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
Experience: 0–1 year of experience, including relevant academic or internship exposure.
Mandatory Technical Skills:
- HTML5, CSS3, TypeScript, and Angular
- Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful APIs
- MSSQL, SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and relational database concepts
- Basic understanding of Hibernate/JPA
- Git and GitHub
- Understanding of software development fundamentals and CRUD operations
- Basic understanding of Agile development methodologies
