Job Description
For the Cleartrip Recruitment 2026 drive, the team is looking for a Software Development Engineer to work on highly maintainable and unit-tested software components. You will assume complete ownership of projects, delivering quality solutions that address real-world travel problems. The role demands a candidate who can demonstrate good learnability and adopt technologies to build large-scale, performant, and reliable systems. You will work in a fast-paced agile environment, collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Roles and Responsibilities
- System Design: Designing and implementing scalable, reliable, and maintainable software systems.
- Ownership: Assuming complete ownership of the projects you deliver, from conception to deployment.
- Coding: Writing clean, efficient, and testable code using Java and Spring Boot.
- Problem Solving: applying strong analytical skills to solve complex business problems.
- Collaboration: Collaborating with product managers, designers, and other engineers in an Agile environment.
- Database Management: Working with various databases (Oracle, MySQL, NoSQL) to manage data efficiently.
Skills and Eligibility Criteria
Educational Background: B.Tech in Computer Science or equivalent from a reputed college.
Experience: Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
Mandatory Technical Skills:
- Strong proficiency in Java programming language.
- Good knowledge of Design Patterns.
- Solid understanding of Data Structures & Algorithms (DSA) with space & time complexities.
- Experience working with databases (Oracle/MySQL/NoSQL).
Competencies:
- Experience in building applications using the Java Spring Boot framework.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
