Job Description
The team is looking for a proactive learner to identify real-world, user-centric scenarios and workflows. You will be responsible for building and executing test automation to ensure accuracy within Clinisys's scientific and healthcare suite of products. You will participate in Scrum rituals, design thorough test cases, and apply appropriate testing techniques to deliver quality products within deadlines. You will also coach analysts with less experience and track issues discovered during the design and development phases.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Test Automation: Design, develop, and maintain automated tests using TypeScript and test automation frameworks like Playwright.
- Test Execution: Complete assigned testing tasks on schedule, including designing test cases, executing tests, reporting, logging bugs, and documenting steps to reproduce.
- Database Validation: Perform database validation and write complex queries using MS SQL or Oracle.
- Agile Collaboration: Participate actively in Scrum rituals and client feedback sessions.
- Defect Management: Troubleshoot defects, contribute to root cause analysis, and ensure effective test coverage based on user experience workflows.
- Process Adherence: Maintain QA best practices and documentation, follow internal standards, and track time spent on activities.
Skills and Eligibility Criteria
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience: 1 to 3 years of experience in SDLC, testing methodologies, and QA.
Mandatory Technical Skills:
- Proficient knowledge of test automation tools/frameworks, specifically Playwright or AI-based automation tools.
- Strong scripting skills in TypeScript.
- Ability to perform database validation and write queries in MS SQL or Oracle.
- Familiarity with AI-driven testing tools for automation, defect prediction, and regression analysis.
