Job Description
Cognizant Recruitment 2026 is hiring experienced candidates for the Test Analyst position in Bangalore. Candidates with B.E/B.Tech, B.Sc, M.E/M.Tech or M.Sc qualifications can apply for this testing opportunity. The selected candidate will work with firmware, hardware, cloud, mobile app, and product teams to validate WiFi features and ensure quality across multiple product releases. Roles and Responsibilities
- Test Strategy and Leadership: Define and own the overall test strategy for firmware and WiFi features, leading and mentoring embedded and test engineers by providing technical guidance and reviews.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with firmware, hardware, cloud, mobile app, and product teams.
- Test Planning: Drive test planning, estimation, risk analysis, and defect triage for multiple product releases.
- Quality Objectives: Define quality objectives and ensure testing activities are aligned with product requirements.
- Firmware and WiFi Testing: Plan and execute functional testing, perform integration testing, conduct regression testing, perform system-level testing, validate WiFi device models (WiFi 5, WiFi 6, WiFi 7), perform network switch testing and configurations, and validate WiFi features and network-related functionality.
- Automation and Tooling: Drive test automation using Python, work with test automation frameworks, integrate automation into CI pipelines, use and guide the team on debugging tools and analyzers, use Wireshark for network analysis and troubleshooting, and work with WiFi testing chambers.
- Quality Metrics: Define and track quality metrics (defect leakage, pass rate, product stability, quality KPIs, defect tracking and triage) to monitor product stability and testing effectiveness.

Educational Background: B.E/B.Tech, B.Sc, M.E/M.Tech, or M.Sc.
Experience: Experienced professionals. Practical knowledge of testing, firmware, WiFi technologies, automation, and networking-related validation.
