Job Description

Cornerstone is looking for passionate and enthusiastic fresh graduates to join its Quality Engineering team . As a Junior QA Engineer – Automation, the selected candidate will receive training in product functionality, automation tools, and testing methodologies. The role involves working with QA Leads and Software Development Engineers in Test (SDETs) during real-time testing cycles and automation activities. This position is particularly suitable for candidates who want to build a career in Quality Engineering and Test Automation while gaining exposure to the use of AI in software testing .

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Work with the Quality Engineering team on manual and automated test cases.
  • Learn and contribute to test automation frameworks using Selenium, Robot Framework, Cypress, or similar tools.
  • Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand product features and requirements.
  • Participate in test planning and test execution activities.
  • Log and track software defects.
  • Participate in regression testing.
  • Contribute to automation efforts and improve testing efficiency.
  • Apply AI concepts to develop smarter and more efficient automation strategies.

Skills and Eligibility Criteria

Educational Background: B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science or Information Technology. MCA or MCS candidates are also eligible.

Experience: Freshers

Mandatory Technical Skills:

  • AI technologies and programming
  • Artificial Intelligence fundamentals and concepts
  • web technologies including JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
  • Object-Oriented Programming concepts, preferably using Java
  • Data Structures and OOPS concepts
  • at least one programming or scripting language such as Java, C++, or .NET
  • API testing and web services
  • Selenium
  • Robot Framework

  • Appium
