As an Associate Software Engineer at CUBE, you will be part of the Content Engineering department, responsible for developing and supporting scalable applications across both frontend and backend systems. Your primary technical focus will be building and enhancing backend services and APIs using Node.js, while ensuring the highest code quality by writing unit tests using Jest. You will be expected to troubleshoot performance issues and ensure the reliability of our AI-powered platforms. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced engineering environment, following strict coding standards and version control practices. Roles and Responsibilities
- Application Development: Develop and maintain scalable applications across the full stack.
- Backend Services: Build and enhance robust backend services and RESTful APIs using Node.js.
- Testing: Write and maintain unit tests using Jest to ensure code quality.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality SaaS solutions.
- Performance & Reliability: Troubleshoot technical issues and perform performance optimization for reliability.
- Coding Standards: Adhere to coding standards and version control (Git) best practices.
- Code Reviews: Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical documentation.

Skills and Eligibility Criteria
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
Experience: Freshers / Junior Engineer.
Mandatory Technical Skills:
- Basic hands-on experience with Node.js and API development.
- Familiarity with modern frameworks like React or Angular.
- Experience in writing unit tests using Jest.
- Good understanding of Git and GitHub workflows.
Competencies:
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and teamwork abilities.
