Job Description
Danfoss Group, a multinational leader in engineering energy-efficient and sustainable solutions, is seeking applications for the role of Analyst – Shared Services. This position is located at Danfoss’ world-class engineering facility in Oragadam, Chennai. It is open to graduates from any degree or discipline, making it an exceptional entry-point for both freshers and early-career professionals to manage material and product compliance data, collaborate with international suppliers, and work with advanced enterprise systems like SAP and PLM.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Compliance Data Administration: Managing and maintaining compliance-related data within enterprise software systems to ensure all product information is aligned with global operational frameworks.
- Supplier Engagement: Partnering directly with suppliers worldwide to solicit, collect, review, and validate critical material compliance documentation.
- Cross-Functional Alignment: Working closely with internal teams, including product compliance, engineering, and sourcing, to streamline documentation pipelines and eliminate operational delays.
- Workflow Management: Tracking status updates on open document requests and performing consistent, proactive follow-ups with suppliers to improve completion and database accuracy rates.
- Stakeholder Updates: Monitoring processes, identifying potential blockages, and communicating clear status reports to management to support fast decision-making.
Skills and Eligibility Criteria
Educational Background: Graduation in any discipline (Any Degree is acceptable).
Experience: Freshers / Experienced.
Mandatory Technical Skills:
- Basic understanding of or hands-on experience in working with enterprise business suites such as SAP
- Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) platforms, or equivalent databases
Competencies:
- Exposure to, or strong interest in, supply chain processes, shared services operations, vendor coordination, data compliance, or master data management
- Ability to synthesize, categorize, and validate high volumes of technical documentation and supply chain data systematically
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- Confidence in reaching out to global suppliers, vendors, and regional stakeholders across multiple time zones
- Self-driven, highly organized individual who manages priorities efficiently
- Performs well in a structured, cooperative team environment
- Strong analytical capability
