Job Description
The QA Engineer will be responsible for maintaining the quality of Dassault Systèmes' complex simulation applications. Unlike a conventional software testing position, this role requires candidates to understand both software quality assurance and engineering simulation. The successful candidate will evaluate product functionality, create test plans, execute regression tests, report defects, and work with development and R&D teams to resolve issues. The role includes both manual GUI testing and automation. Candidates will also work with Python and testing environments to improve the efficiency and coverage of software validation. Because the role is associated with SIMULIA, knowledge of computational fluid dynamics and simulation software is an important differentiator.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Review enhancement specifications: And provide early feedback on requirements.
- Create detailed test plans: For new and existing product functionality.
- Evaluate simulation software functionality: Against defined requirements.
- Execute test plans: And document test results.
- Integrate appropriate tests: Into regression test suites.
- Run regression suites: Across supported operating systems and platforms.
- Analyze regression test failures: And identify potential defects.
- Report software bugs: And track their resolution.
- Perform manual GUI testing.
- Develop and execute: Automated tests.
- Document test procedures: Test cases, and testing activities.
- Work closely with development teams: To investigate and resolve issues.
- Collaborate with physics R&D: And application management teams.
- Interact with product management: And validation teams.

Skills and Eligibility Criteria
Educational Background: M.E/M.Tech in Mechanical or Thermal Engineering.
Experience:
